Clutch break-in period

I'm puttin a new clutch in my car this weekend and i was wondering if there'sa break in period that i need to take it easy on it. I have put in clutches before but i never really babied it for a while. I was went out and dropped to the clutch to see how good it grabbed. I heard that your suspose to take it easy for the first 300 to 500 miles so the pressure plate and the disc mate up good. Any feedback ?

500 miles is the recommended break in period on my clutchmasters clutch.

Yep, stop and go driving. No hard shifts or fast take offs.
